I got a similar preview version, with the exact features that you mentioned. But something's weird.. It said Fallout 3 on the CD. Apparently the ol' nice RPG turned into a FPS. Producers must be going mad.

How'd I get the preview version? You know the lead designer, right? Well I'm his father's brother's roomate's uncle's cousin's neighbour. Small world, eh?

Would you care to enlighten me on the "greater significance of this issue", Blargh? Because I see no significance to this whole thing, other than seeing someone talking shit and being proud of it. What's up with dissing S.T.A.L.K.E.R? Afraid of being better than Fallout 3 (in terms of atmosphere and feeling)? That sort of negative publicity, dissing or whatever you like to call it is low. And I tend to be very skeptical about the character of someone who does that. About the games, we shall see how good they are. If the hype doesn't kill them...

Look, I don't want to offend you dude. But stalker is a pretty average game. After running round the country-side and shooting dragons for an hour, it gets kind of boring. I'd rather play morrowind or GTA: 3. If you can't accept the fact that the game will contain all the stuff in my original post, why don't you go e-mail the developers themselves? They'll confirm every last bit of of my review.

I gave it a good review anyway SHIT HEAD! Fuck you. The dragons were like giant cliff-racers and the weapons were ripped off from counter-strike.

As for S.T.A.L.K.E.R... If you have played something, it's probably the Alpha versions, they did have some robots as opponents, and the weapons (which were nicely done by the way) did sound like in CS. But that was an alpha version, about a year old. I do believe the producers have done something about that by now, don't you think? And what's with the ten CDs? And since we're discussing the game, maybe there's a rational explanation to why the things that you have said do not resemble to what we all saw in the many gameplay trailers released so far.

I assure you that if you found a leaked alpha version of Fallout 3 or whatever game you would be interested in, you wouldn't really enjoy it. Speaking of Fallout 3, I hope it will meet your expectations, I sincerely do. As for S.T.A.L.K.E.R, I hope it will meet mine.

P.S.: You seem like a temperamental person. For the sake of your friends, I hope you're not like this IRL.

Hey you played the alpha? Isn't that sort of ILLEGAl whatever mate, I don't care what ILLEGAL version you played, but I played v1.0 of STALKER: Shadow of Chernobul. You can't seem to accept that fact, so perhaps you should leave and never come back ever again.

But that was an alpha version, about a year old. I do believe the producers have done something about that by now, don't you think?

If a guy with 12 483 post says he watched a football game in his living room accompanied by a martian who landed in the backyard that doesn't mean I have to believe it. And who said I live in Russia? Believe me that I do not take for granted the assumptions of some stranger that I just "met" on a forum. Neither does the foul language impress me, any "big shot" can say "fuck you!" on the Internet. Not bringing real arguments and cursing instead says a lot about how you really are.

Oh and I'm sure GSC hates us (whoever the hell "we" are) so much that they are making a stupid game just to go to work in the morning and find an angry mob in front of their office.

As for the video... I suppose that if I take a video cam and walk on a god-forsaken field (just to get a glimpse of that Fallout-like atmosphere) and shoot hedgehogs with my hunting rifle, and then labeling the video "Fallout 3", I wouldn't make a very strong point against F3, now would I?

Other than that, I must say I'm highly amused by this conversation, I really am.
