Hi again....

This is getting kind of, well I'm afraid to say this but I will, European vs. American style of running a society. Roughly put it goes this way: Europe -> Bad economy, good social freedom/wealthcare and America -> the other way around.

It's a choise of styles, a choise made by the people's parliament. As far as I'm concerned nations should just do what the people want, isn't that a working democracy? If people vote for Republicans LET THE DAMN NATION WORK THE REPUBLICAN WAY. It's that simple. This has nothing to do with what's right, wrong, efficient or wasting. Politics - don't even bother to think it's anything more than populism. We've discussed about morals in other topics and "liberals against conservatists" doesn't have anything do with it. It's just two very similar groups trying to hold their grip on power.

We are the most liberal country in the world, so how the hell do we have a bad social freedoms? God, I swear all everyone does is blame bad shit that happens everywhere in the world on us. What the crap are you talking about? The US is FAR from the most liberal country there is. Granted, you're above China or Cambodia (where you should take a holiday, chuckles), but you're nowhere near countries like the Netherlands or Canada in terms of liberalism. Just remember that freedom does not equate to liberalism.

Spazmo, Canada is a nation full of drugees, probably worse then the US, becuase they offer "asylum" to those drugees. My cousin says that Canada is shit, shes a citizen, well she says every nation is shit, so shes probably hopped up on drugs too. As for the Netherlands, they are all hushed up, most Europeans are, I haven't seen one European protest anything, cept us. Government involved perhaps?

canada couldnt help if it wanted to anyways, the US already steals our resources at low prices and our army constists of 12 indians in 4 canoes and a bunch of ww2 era ships and helicopters. plus most of our standing forces were in afganistan taking care of the mess the americans left there.

too bad no terrorist acts in the US have been caused by canadians or people canadian immigration has let in. all the 9/11 guys were either saudis brought in by the US or US citizens.

yes canadians are still in afganistan keeping peace and if you do research you will find the US gets multiple resources from canada such as wood and minerals at extremely low prices.
i cant even goto the lumber store and get good lumber at a decent price because of it.

EDIT: oh and soldier, the US never won the war in iraq. it will end up as another vietnam.

EDIT2: due to soldiers stupidity i had to put this. if canada had the military power it would not do what the US does because it has no reason to show its power. we in canada are relatively placid people until you piss us off.

Anyway, you all seem to keep forgetting, being a liberal isn't a bad thing as long as you're the right kind of liberal. True liberalism is supposed to be freedom, less government and all that jazz. Modern day liberals are all about the taking my money away and having all sorts of government programs to give it to crack heads and "artists" so they can toss some shit or jizz on something and call it art.

Yes we won the war because Iraq no longer has a fighting force persay. Guerilla's don't count. The occupation is still ongoing however, so thats what you should be questioning.

Not really, and before we think that this is going to turn into the Vietnam War, lets remember two things. Iraq doesn't really have an army anymore, and last I checked, none of our future reading abilities has been too great. As to losing in the same way we lost Vietnam, that was because Johnson and Nixon were wusses when it came to war so they pulled out once the numbers started looking bad for them.
