We should propose the Death Row for everyone to the UN.

All their proposition are gay social measures.

"Voting is compulsory, citizens are barcoded to keep track of their movements, voting is voluntary"

Um.. Something seems to have messed up.

You must've gotten the same issue twice.
It's buggy software... And they haven't been updating it in ages either, because Nationstates II is on it's way, /me thinks.

As luxurious as hindsight is, I now regret joining the UN. Having observed their forum(s) for a sufficient amount of time, I arrived at the following logical and ultimately correct conclusion - for the most part the UN appears to consist of entirely vacuous, ill-informed ; moralising fuckwits who have absolutely no qualms about forcing their values and judgements (which, with the exception of individual opinion are inherently worthless) upon others.

These oppressed others, such as myself, who for example believe there is nothing wrong with championing personal liberties, should such freedoms be as innocuous as the right to get smashed in any pub one chooses ; or as genuinely hilarious as the right to take a sharp object to any part of one's own body for possible recreational, spiritual, economic or social purposes (Re: the FGM 'debate'*).

In conclusion, I personally think this could and should be regarded as a necessary piece of retroactive legislation : to bombard the NationStates administrator with petitions for an antithesis of the UN (perhaps it could be called the Disjointed Nations, or the Untied Nations ?), for the sake of sentient beings everywhere who refuse to fall in line with those they do not agree with.

Ultimately, the leftists are also capable of fascism, their weapons include censorship, phrases such as ' for the greater good ', assorted sanctions, and the might of banding together with similarly mis-thinking morons.

Thank you for your time. :drunk:

*That is, if by 'debate' one is referring to the shouting down of anyone who thinks differently to the cretin majority...

I prefer to force my ideas upon others but they aren't moralistic.

Anyways blargh, your post was long, drawn out, and well written.
I give you a gold star.

On the other hand, it was angsty, trite and hypocritical.
Too bad Zee Germans can't take away your right to post...

What the hell, I'm getting repeats of issues! I've received "Should Democracy Be Compulsory?" twice now. Stupid.

How is that working out for you ?

*laughs*

It's fair that my rant would invite such scathing retorts, truthfully there would be something wrong if it didn't.

My thanks for your astute critique of my comment, a comment that was formed of entirely deliberate hyperbole. Thoughts and words often being separate, it would be somewhat foolish to assume that I post my exact beliefs on anything.

However, having been here long enough to have glanced over many of your comments, MFG, I find your vitriol of insignificant value.

Once again, thanks. :drunk:

doesn't vitriol have something to do with acids?

I just used the Warsaw Pact as an example of how the 'other UN' could be. You know, the same thing but for a different side.

see my edit. vitriol does have to do with acids which reveals a little more about my grade 3 education than i cared to divulge.
