I didn't play any of the 3D Mega Mans (Men?). Just some 2.5D ones (X8).
ZX series are good playing.

I started playing this game, 'Echo Bazaar' after watching some video on the Escapist, the game is a free-browser thing wich is sort of interesting.
I'm not sure how far I am.
And I ordered New Vegas on Amazon so that's cool.

I've been playing Gears of War 2 because I got it for christmas in 2008 but it was still in the shrink wrap and I decided to play it once and for all. It was actually pretty good, very polished and paced quite well. The game was also of decent length, if the game counter is to be believed then I spent atleast 20 hours on it.
I played the first one when it came out and I didn't remember it that fondly except for the at the time revolutionary cover system that is now everywhere. I remember the boss fights in the old one were really bad but in this one they were okay.

And there are still some pretty big balance issues. Light tanks become pretty useless after tier 3 and 4 or so. Also, the tracked artillery on latter tiers becomes insanely powerful combined with their 'all-seeing vision' over the battlefield.

HAHA. Kashluk i play that game too. I have been playing for less than a week, but that last XP and CRED boost helped me get a decent array of tanks, although i made the mistake of diversifing my tanks instead of focusing on a specific Type.
Is your name Kashluk in the game? xD

Yeah, I play with the same nick I use here. I've been trying different types of tanks myself as well. Playing solely as USSR, I've gotten so far:
- the best (tier 4) Soviet light tank, A-20
- tier 6 medium tank, M-34-85
- tier 4 SPG (artillery), SU-5
- and I'm about to get my first heavy tank on tier 5, KV-1
I think I've played for 1½ weeks or so? The XP/cred boost was nice, in a way, but now it feels like everyone's rolling a tier 8 - 10 tank. I end up at the bottom of the player list (in order of the tank tier) in almost every game I play with my tier 6 tank these days.

My girlfriend played that game and she said that it was boring as hell.

Women don't understand tanks. I haven't tried it, but a woman going, "Boy, this game full of tanks is boring" doesn't sound reliable to me.

I've been playing a little bit of Monkey Island 2 and despite not really having got anywhere in the game thus far, I can really appreciate the writing. It is well thought out, interesting and above all genuinely funny. They don't make games like this any more these days.

I don't have a console. I played RDR with a mate in germany. It was ok.
Unless it comes out on PC I won't be able to play it.

The console port of GTA IV is terribly optimized, to the extent that if you don't have at least a quad core with at least four gigs of ram and a video card with 512 dedicated memory on it good luck getting the resolution out of 1024x768, let alone getting 30 FPS.

I tried GTA 4 on the PC and the port is so horrendous that I decided it wasn't worth the effort. It really handles worse than a piece of shit.

Worse port than fucking Fallout 3.
