Well... shit. Either of the extensions are worth their price, and RDR is like a whiskey-filled spitoon with hints of GTA4, Snake Eater and John Wayne's semen.

GTA 4 runs fine on my computer and I have a dual core with an 8800 GT Nvidia card.

Yeah, after achodekus explained me that not having the newest patches makes the game practically unplayable.
I think it's ok. Reminds me of my regular life... lot's of shit and driving around and phone ringing all the time.

I haven't played the port since it first came out, especially since I returned it the same day demanding my money back and explaining why it was a piece of shit to the cashier, who probably understood little to none of it, but was convinced enough to give me a fucking giftcard with the fitty bucks I spent on it so I wouldn't get even more pissed off.
I'll be damned if I give it another chance, though. Goddamn.

I pretty much did the same with the most recent Wolfenstein game.
The kid at EB games first refused, coz of the serial and activation and whatnot, so I spoke to the manager, explained that the game is unplayably homosexual and he gave my money back but I kept the serial.

I'm running it at 1920x1080 and have the view distances turned to slightly farther than the Xbox version, it runs fine. The patching helped it a lot.
One of the biggest performance hits is reflections because whoever programmed them was retarded - tuning those down is smooth sailing.

I'm playing the Riddick games at the moment, they seem ok so far. Napoleon Total War was quite

as well.

GTA 4 runs smooth and all, but the shadows are flashing around occasionally... anyone aware of a way to fix this kinda shit?

Deus Ex, nearing the end, sort of losing interest.

Word.
Btw how's the remake? (If that's what you're playing)

It's like a first-person shooter with some RPG-elements plugged in. Play it with that in mind and you won't be disappointed. That's all there is to it.

The shooter mechanics work a bit different, but that's pretty much it. If it were a brand game, it'd be called Call of Duty: Tank Warfare or some shit.

I got it. It's still quality, but it seems my taste in humor has evolved over the years. What was once uproaringly hilarious in it when I was a kid elicits a mental "hey, that's cute".

Yeah, figures. So, with the new gfx and voice acting is it really worth it, or am I better off getting Super Meat Boy instead?
Strange thing as of late, with the exception of a couple indies and some flash games, I'm having the hardest time getting
any new games, and end up playing some oldies instead.
