'Copying Bethoven' turned out better than I'd guessed. To be viewed with good audio and _without_ popcorn kiddies. (if they somehow accidentally stumbled to that film).
At first I thought wtf, this acting shouldnt be so american. But the next instance I said to myself 'well the Vienna of that time was perhaps as young-spirited and lively as some of the present US, so why the heck not'.
Also, ms Kruger - distinctly better than in the infamous 'Troy'. Holland must've had a good reason to take her.

Did they do a soundtrack? Ichi the Killer?
No that was karera musication.
I think amazon just tells me to buy the boredoms because I told it I like merzbow.

the boredoms are good but too silly, i think they should make a hip-hop album for a change of direction. also i don't think they are related to acid mothers temple, though i know that boredoms and karera musication are made up of pretty much the same characters
what's ichi the killer like, dac?

Ichi the Killer is like awesome, self-mutilation by cutting off the tongue with a knife, S/M, torture with boiling oil, raw eating of a hand while it's still attached, razor sharp shoes, wanking, sex etc etc
Also "A bright shining lie" with Bill Paxton is a great film :krieg:

that's not too far from the reality. I can add to that that it's pretty good, but you musn't expect an american movie. The style is totally different, and it shows in every aspect of the movie. It's funny also that the guy who plays Kakihara(the guy who cuts off his own tongue), Tadanobu Asano, plays in tons of "serious" movies in japan. I was surprised a real actor accepted of playing in that movie.
Also, I strongly suggest Visitor Q.

Visitor Q is like bizzonkers. I have it but I don't want to watch it again, it's so fucked up. I will at some point though.

Is Citizen Kane any good? Never saw it but its showing at a local theater tonight and I'm thinking about seeing it...

It's terribly boring, even I couldn't stand watching it to the end, and I call myself a dedicated film nerd that often watches terrible films to the end just because they are a "must-see"
