Two bits of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy film news. First off is an <a href="http://www.twitchfilm.net/archives/2005 ... >interview on twitchfilm with Mark Gatiss, from The League of Gentlemen, where he talks about his part in the film:
T: Now, what are the other guys doing in all of this down time? I know Steve has been involved with Blackpool and has a small part in the Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy …

M: That’s right, yes. In fact we did some voices, all three of us did some voices for the Vogons in Hitch Hikers.

T: Oh, really? Oh, that’s excellent.

M: I got to say “Resistance is useless!

T: Oh, man, I am such a fan of those. That would have me tripping out for days if I got to do something like that.

M: It’s fucking fantastic. It’s very European. I thought it would be somehow Disneyfied but it looks really sort of dirty.
Secondly, the official movie poster has been unveiled:

The film doesn't look too bad, actually.

Reading up on the league of gentleman's status, they're also doing a film that looks completely awesome.

"The films premise, for those of you not yet in the know is that the fictional world of Royston Vasey is facing apocalypse and the only way to avert disaster is for our nightmarish cast of characters to find a way into the real world and confront their creators. From present day Soho to the fictional film world of 17th Century Britain, the residents must overcome countless bizarre obstacles in their bid to return Royston Vasey to safety."

Both look quite grand. Especially the latter. I'll keep many, many eyes on this. Cheers. :drunk:
