How is he Dodge Hines? They've just got the Fallout licence, and any question I've sent to Pete Hines he's responded to quickly, usually the same day.PsychoSniper wrote:So Dodge Hines is leaving ? I dont know weather to insult him, or wish him luck on a better job.
It's been 'no comment' most of the time, but that's not dodging the question, it's giving a straight answer - it's their policy not to talk about stuff. It's much better than some PR filled response that has a lot of words but says nothing.

I do like Pete. No matter how much we may banter about double speak or whatever. The few times that I've emailed him, he responded quickly and in detail. He's a good guy.
By the way, has it actually been confirmed that he's leaving? He could possibly be just switching titles or something.

Well, In one of the early interviews, he mentioned that FO3 won't be (isometric) like Baldur's Gate.Mr. Teatime wrote:How is he Dodge Hines? They've just got the Fallout licence, and any question I've sent to Pete Hines he's responded to quickly, usually the same day.
When I asked him on the TES forum why he even mentioned Baldur's Gate he said something like "Because BioWare developed it."
I am not certain anymore but I think he may have said that it's because BW developed KOTOR or something similar.
When I asked him how this was relevant in the context of Fallout, he didn't reply.
I consider that dodging a question.
