The post-apocalyptic RTS Trash has been <a href="http://www.cosmosgaming.com/previewpc.p ... >previewed at Cosmos Gaming.
As soon as you start playing, it becomes apparent that Trash is different from your typical RTS. Sure, you still need to mine resources just like in your standard game (in this case, it’s trash). However, there are many unique elements. First, all of the structures in the game are connected by pipes. This is how resources are given to each building, and pipes must be built before the structure can. Players must build windmills to power all of their buildings, and also make various other structures. The pipe setup allows players to build all over the map, and not just be restricted to one map.

Second, you need to manage what you build. Many specific structures require a toxic waste or precious metal site before they can be built, and as these are scarce, you really need to decide what the best structure to build will be. Also, Trash’s research system is different. Researching will gain you advancements for your units, but your existing units will not automatically gain them (a Mechanic must apply them).
I've never been a fan of RTS games, but the preview mentions an open beta is in the works, which I'll probably get around to trying.
