[Game -> Preview] - More info on Company: GSC Game World | More info on Game: S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Shadows of Chernobyl

News of the game's <strike>cancellation</strike> delay hasn't stopped the influx of <strike>shitty and identical</strike> quality previews for STALKER. Here's some of what GamerFeed had to say:

Every new PC first person shooter needs to have a gimmick that sets it apart from other games in the genre and S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
has a couple and the best is its non-linearity. Unlike other shooters,
you're never on a set path nor do you jump from level to level. The
entire Zone, which is comprised of a 30 kilometer space, is open to you
right from the get go. You may not be able to access certain areas
right away, but you're free to just go around and do your thing. You're
also able to define your character and how you're perceived by the
living beings in the Zone, so if you don't bother the military and
other Stalkers there's a good chance they won't bother you. In fact,
rumor has it that you may be able to complete the game without killing
a single human being.

That last bit could be interesting, if true. With the game delayed indefinately, it may be a while before we find out.

Yeah well it's false, jackass. You can probably go through most games without killing things by running past them, it doesn't make it a viable gameplay feature.

You could also go stealh in Vampire, but it made no fucking sense as you walked in front of people's face.
