That's fairly exciting news if true.Blizzard is advertising for a whole swathe of jobs but one for a Lead Game Designer to head up the Blizzard North team that created Diablo and Diablo 2 lead Gamers Hell to wonder if Diablo 3 is heading into production. The job calls for someone with experience working on RPG titles and here's the intro text:
Blizzard North is looking for an experienced Game Designer to help lead the team that designed Diablo and Diablo II. The ideal candidate would be a talented and motivated individual with great design instincts and strong leadership skills.
Gamers Hell originally noticed the item at Evil Avatar.

Who is this imbecile?? You have ten posts and all of them equally and incredibly flagrantly idiotic ones! How do you manage?Naked_Lunch wrote:who gives a flying fuck? Diablo fucking sucks the big one.
As for Diablo, I dont see how this peice of news applies to this forum? Diablo does not have a post-apocalyptic theme... and is it considered RPG? It cant be.
Though, I will admit it was quite a time-killer at one time... I did not like Diablo 2 without Lord of Destruction very much but it would be a little interesting to see what they would do for a third installment of the game...
There are no 'knowns'. There are thing we know that we know. There are known unknowns. That is to say there are things that we now know we don't know. But there are also unknown unknowns. There are things we don't know we don't know. So when we do the best we can and we pull all this information together, and we then say well that's basically what we see as the situation, that is really only the known knowns and the known unknowns. And each year, we discover a few more of those unknown unknowns.

I liked Diablo 1, Diablo 2 was meh but still fun in small doses and Diablo 3 will probably suck big time. It'll probably have loads of flashing effects, lame(r) magic system and be ported and dumbed down for console gamers.
I just don't trust Blizzard anymore. They suck, at least we have the new Diablo-like game from...Flagship, was it?

I thought some of the art on the second site looked interesting. *shrugs*
