A few post-apocalyptic mods have had an update recently. Firstly, <a href="http://www.roadkillwarriors.com/">Roadkill Warriors</a>, for HL2 and UT2004, has apologised for missing their 15th February deadline (not surprising):

<blockquote>
<div align="left"><em>
Damn, 15th february came and went and still no release!! Thats what many of you are thinking right now....
</em><p><em>I'd
like to inform you all that we've been working very very hard to make
this date, but reaching a date is not as important as releasing a good
playable "game". Our goal is to do something good that will make ppl
enjoy playing with minimum ammount of bugs. So squashing them has taken
a bit more than expected. </em></p>
<p><em>We
have started to playtest and will take care of the last issues tonight
and if we're lucky you will have Roadkill Warriors first playable alpha
installed and ready to go tomorrow.</em></p>

So they say tommorow they might have the alpha ready.

<a href="http://www.zombiepanic.org/site/index.php">Zombie Panic</a> has had a new release, version 0.94, and you can download the new version <a href="http://www.chaos-realms.com/downloads.p ... 4">here</a>.

<a href="http://www.wastelandhl2.com/">Wasteland HL2</a>'s site has been redone - again - with the promise that more information is coming soon.

Finally, Battlefield: Apocalypse have updated their site with some new screenshots which you can view <a href="http://www.apocalypse.doomlab.com/modul ... 0">here</a>. They also have started a <a href="http://www.apocalypse.doomlab.com/index ... sletter</a>.

I doubt I'll get around to playing any of these mods, but they're
where most of the post-apocalyptic gaming is coming from at the moment.
