I saw Army of Darkness on TV before and it was okay, had some funny parts and was entertaining. I rented Evil Dead 1 after always hearing the praise on the forums, but WTF is up with the movie? It looks like a kid tried to make it. Is that the movie that gets all the praise or is it mostly the second one?

Mostly the second one and army of darkness.

Thats cause the first one was basically made by little kids. It was made by Bruce Raimi while they were in college. It had a budget of like 1000 dollars. I could cobble more money from a bakesale, especially with TG's canabis growing abilities.

Don't know about that, chief. Mel's ok, but he just doesent beat the concept of trucking in space.

I never saw it, but hear it's good. I saw Young Frankenstein once on Comedy Central, but it bored me to death. The innuendo was still funny at times, but it was really dated, and not in a good way. It was likely a smash hit back in 1975, but not so much anymore.

The Evil Dead is a bit boring, it's alright first time but the second time you'll be crying with utter boredom.
The Evil Dead 2 is a lot better, everyone says it's a remake but it seems more like a sequel to me, besides from the first 15mins it's all new stuff. If you have a sick sense of humour it’s pretty funny in some bits but not exactly “OMG ROLL ON FLOOR LAUGHING! funny.
Army of Darkness is pretty good, a worthy sequel, they should of kept it at that but instead their making the new one which will probably suck, badly.
Anyway go see the second one, it’s pretty good, if you like old horror movies that is. If not then you suck and I hate you for wasting my time writing this post.
Have a nice day, cheer-o mate.

I can only watch Blazing Saddles and Young Frankenstein. Other Mel Brooks movies just kind of fall apart. I mean, Spaceballs was the utter shit, and not in a good way.
