For those of you who live near London, or can get there by March 10th, you might want to consider attending the 3rd Douglas Adams Memorial Lecture;
which will be held at the Royal Institution. The doors will be open at
7pm and the lecture will begin at 7:30pm. If you want drink, it'll cost
you nearly $40/£20, if not; it'll cost you around $23/£12.

The lecture will also feature a charity auction, where they'll be auctioning off 2 VIP Tickets to the world premier of, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, among other things.

Melbourne Comedy Festival in Australia, at the Village Cinemas Crown
Casino. If you want to attend, you'll have to Hitch a ride to Australia
by March 29th, the show starts at 7:40pm and don't forget to bring a

Re: Hitchhiker's Lecture & More!
Was this in the books? It might be where the south park people got the idea for Towlie from, but I don't remember the phrase from the novels...... and don't forget to bring a towel!
hehehe, well, it's always a good idea to bring a towel. ";0) Wanna get high?! hehe. Naaa, it was in the book, yes. Ford Prefect asks Author if he has a towel and the Narrator explains the reason behind this. A towel is one of the most usefull items a Hitchhiker can have in his inventory.

yeah
heheh, o, ok... Yeah, I wasn't directly quoteing, though I'm familiar with the South Park line and I knew it could be reffered back to it. I left it open ended so you could think of both refferences and not just one, that's why I didn't put it in quotes... That way, you get to jokes for the price of 1.
