Adams' Lecture Report and Birthday Salute!

Post by Europa13 »

[Film & TV -> Article] - More info on Person: Douglas Adams | More info on Film & TV: Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

For those of you who are interested in what the turnout for the Douglas Adams Memorial Lecture was like, there's a brief report posted by DaveH on the Douglas Adams Continuum Forums. I guess it went pretty well and they auctioned off quite a few pieces of memorabilia... Minus the Bronze Vogon.

Also, it would appear that today is the Late and Great, Douglas Adams' Birthday... I know, you're singing Happy Birthday in your head right now, while visions of the Heart of Gold go sailing past right? Any ways, Happy Birthday Douglas Adams!

He would have been 52. That's younger than I thought - means he must have been very young when he wrote the first Hitchhiker's Guide.
