hum... not sure much people have played it, since all the bad review it got. From as far as I know this was the only other game uses the Special system that was also used on Fallout.... I own a copy.... it not a bad game, but far from been the best. Anyone here played it as well?

Lionheart is the game that made Ex into the twisted monster he is today. It broke his heart.

He had one in the first place???

Anyway, I tried a demo once.
Thankful for the un-install option. :chainsaw:

Lionheart.
Diablo-like action... very poorly implemented.
Skill system... boring, increases slow and unimpressive.
(But nice bone golems!)
Dialogue... nice system like the empathy perk in Fallout.
(But it sucks.)
SPECIAL ... included as nothing more than BAIT! It is not implemented
in any significant way.Plot... lame-ish. Could have worked if the designers had read Foucalt's Pendulum and had it as their bible/koran/torah.
(But they didn't, or at least only superficially.)
Really, if they had stuck to the "Fallout Fantasy" code-name and
implemented it as what it seemed to be from the outside based on
the code name they would have done much better. Just slick up
the old FO engine, update the graphics, and you would have had a
mideival/renaissance PA game with magic.
But noo-ooo! They used their Expert Excrement Expediter Perk
as a Corporate Spell, and ripped off a bunch of people.
(And added to their own doom... the company that made Fallout should
have known to keep track of its Karma Points and Reputations.)
oh well.

I stepped across the line though, like a reckless pioneer with their lustful eyes set only upon the glory of immortality. Blind. And now, and now, I am an official resident of the realm of F'ked'n'th'he'd. Bipolar with a dash of schizophrenia does that. Or so they say. Oh to turn back the chronometers, to a time that probably never was.

*sighs*

Thanks a fucking lot, you cunt. :drunk:

I liked Lionheart and nothing you can fucking say will change that.

Atleast it wasn't full of fucking bugs and slowdowns like everyones favorite game, Bloodlines.

How did you play it that made it stay interesting?
This is a serious question.

For a while I kept returning to town to build a stockpile of
gunpowder bombs. That was fun for a while, but waiting for
the stock to respawn was tedious.

I'll be honest. I still haven't played Lionheart.

I never got near it because of all the bad worth of mouth it got during the demo and when the game after released.

Well, it was a huge lie.
You don't get to explore an Alternate Europe and have adventures and stuff.
It's like a really shitty version of Diablo2 with extra dialogue.
