<strong>[Game -> Update]</strong> - More info on <a href="http://wikipocalypse.duckandcover.cx/in ... le=Abaddon: Fallen Angel">Game: Abaddon: Fallen Angel</a>
For the third time in a month, <a href="http://abaddon.igerard.com/">Abaddon</a>'s recieved an update, and is now at v0.5 beta. You can download it <a href="http://abaddon.igerard.com/downloads.html">here</a>, and post comments for the creator to read <a href="http://p219.ezboard.com/fabaddonfallena ... 1">here</a>. The game's too anime for my tastes, but it's impressive that it's still being worked on and getting releases...

Its not much anime at all in latest versions of the game. It actually looks like fallout. When its done its not gonna be boring to play. I mean its not like in first version of this that he made when he was 12 years old and you had qute anime chars fighting in final fantasy stile combat and you start in a medival looking castle. When i tried that tech demo it was like real time squad system for walking like in JA2, just not sure how combat system is gonna work in it cause it wasnt implemented in last update.

That convinced me gamne has potential.Q: Are you gonna have magic in Abaddon?
Well, not really, not that it would be difficult to implement, it would be insanely easy to add, which makes me so tempted to do it (and now I understand why every RPG has magic, ITS SO EASY!!). But I will not, I want Abaddon to be different, not just a cookie cutter clone RPG like most of those out there, ABADDON is taking you to an actually realistically plausible place, the futuristic technology may seem like magic, but it isnt. I think the abuse of magic as a crutch makes it so , well, unmagical, it loses all its otherworldy appeal. I would rather go with Stephen King's brand of magic, no main character has it, it is something that mystifies, not just a tool to be used.
