While I find humor in basically anything... I do respect the Popes position and I was baptised under the Catholic church, even though I no longer attend and have different views on life/God... Far as the Apocalypse goes... *raises glass* Here's hopein!!!!

Meh. A lot of popes have died before.

Hopefully this one won't go to hell like most of them probably did.

From what I have read, he was a 'good, moral' man prior to his joining the church. Hence, I shall remember him as such, and consequently find some sadness in his passing, despite not sharing his beliefs. :drunk:

That about sums up my thoughts. Having said that, people die every day. I can't place much emphasis on one particular person dying, unless they meant something personal to me. Otherwise, life would be permanently miserable, and that's not so good. Something like that, anyway.

Two well placed bullets, then the Apocalypse comes.

If a living pope is placed in cryostasis, could that allow indefinite
forestallment?

Because it'd mean two more incredibly shitty news posts on DaC and that would drag it to its death, and with it the whole world, of course.

He apperently fought communism, which I find interesting.

Bah...

Why's this on the DAC news?... I feel sorry that the guys dead but there where many other popes before him. No way is this a sign of a 'comming apocalypse.' the guy was in his 80's for christs sake.
