[Game -> Interview] - More info on Person: Aleksey Tchetsnikh | More info on Game: Hard Truck: Apocalyptic Wars

The hillariously badly-named post-apocalyptic RPG Hard Truck has an interview up at GGMania. It's with Aleksey Tchetsnikh, writer and lead
designer on the game.

GGMania: Is there anything else you'd like to add about the RPG elements in
the game?

Aleksey Tchetsnikh:
Ex Machina is not only about upgrading your truck and
making it a juggernaut, but also about communication, exploration and
investigation. The players who prefer action, will get action, while those who
enjoy exploring the world, will get plenty of opportunities to do it through
dialogs with numerous NPCs and books that reveal the secrets of the lost
civilizations.
GGMania: What kinds of enemies will the player have to face in Hard Truck:
Apocalyptic Wars?

Aleksey Tchetsnikh:
There are several powerful and less powerful groups
fighting for influence in different regions of Ex Machina world. Each group has
its own variety of cars and combat tactics to fulfill their aims. The player
will fight with different types of military machines, heavy trucks, deadly
robots and fast scavenger vehicles, not to mention extra powerful bosses.

Nice to see the questions referring to Hard Truck and the answers talking about Ex Machina. Real smooth, guys.

WTF is up the the trucks? Why fucking trucks? To appeal to the redneck market? I mean, yeah I liked trucks when I was fucking 10 years old but this shit is embarassing. Go into your game store and ask for a copy of "Hard Truck". You'll sound like a fucking mouth-breathing shit.
Ex Machina was such a cooler name.

Well to my understanding, the apoclypse just means doom for mankind. It could just be possible that mankind was wiped out by a genetically engineered virus that didn't affect foilage or something. I have no idea about the backstory because this game doesn't sound too great or anything, but ugh, just to say "It's possible."

Could be a title of a porn flick... "HARD TRUCK starring Rocco Siffredi and Jenna Jameson in hot on-the-road action!"Franz Schubert wrote:Hard Truck... it's almost as someone came up with this name as a joke.
There are no 'knowns'. There are thing we know that we know. There are known unknowns. That is to say there are things that we now know we don't know. But there are also unknown unknowns. There are things we don't know we don't know. So when we do the best we can and we pull all this information together, and we then say well that's basically what we see as the situation, that is really only the known knowns and the known unknowns. And each year, we discover a few more of those unknown unknowns.

Hello, Guys!
I'm from Targem, the developer team of Hard Truck: Apocalyptic Wars.
It was kind of useful to read this forum and hear your opinions about the name... So, it just doesn't sound good to American and British people?
Was Ex Machina better?
I would also like to invite you to the website of the game:
http://www.buka.com/cgi-bin/show.pl?id=26
http://targem.ru/exmachina_eng/
There are the description of the game, the screenshot gallery and links to some of our interviews. I'd be happy to anser any questions you have and hear your constructive criticism.
