Auto Assault at Boomtown

[Game -> Preview] - More info on Game: Auto Assault

Another preview of Auto Assault is up, this time at Boomtown. It's not really very interesting.

Boomtown: Story arcs are more important than killing random mobs
– how many story arcs does the game feature at the moment and how are
you planning to tell them to the gamers? (text, cut-scenes, voice-over?)

Scott Brown: I don’t want to get into exact numbers but there are lots
of missions in the game now and more being poured into the game every
day as we work to add content to Auto Assault. Each race has several
story arcs that reveal much about the past and present of the races as
well as many, many side missions that give depth to the world. We
strongly believe that we can provide the players with a rich storyline
that is fun to be immersed in as well as proving them with fast paced
game play. We have some incredible leads, Adam Maxwell, Chris Holtorf
and Hal Hanlin, for each of our races and they have a team of writers
working with them to make sure that the missions in Auto Assault are
great. The missions are all given to the players as text.

Stories? I thought Bioware had made it illegal to have more story than real-time combat in an RPG these days.
