The Optimus Keyboard. LCDs on every key. I might buy one if I suddenly come into a lot of money and suddenly decide to stop lighting that money on fire to light my smokes.

The keyboard looks cool but its not something I would go out to buy in replacement of the one I have now. With the games, you would have to map each key which wouldn't be as cool if all games did it if it was a standard. It w*ould be so futuristic if that happened.

It'd actually be pretty sweet if you could use the keyboard as a secondary display, with all the keys forming one screen. And it's just neat technology. I put this on my "expensive shit to buy if I'm rich" list, just before "car made of gold".

I'd rather have as less lights on my desk as possible. Ideally the only light would come from the monitor screen. I had to tape over the monitor LED because it was so distracting - I sure don't need the damn keyboard to light up.

Besides, it has very little practical value. More of an expensive novelty.

Yeah, it was blue and VERY BRIGHT. The Chinese are constantly looking for more ways to punish those stupid Americans.

I put blu-tac over my monitor and speaker LEDs. It makes for a more pleasurable movie-going experience.

Watching LEDs in the dark is fun, though.

It gets boring really fast.
