This is a news story about how Namco is putting out a collection of "the company's biggest arcade hits from 1979 to 1987." This makes the oldest game in the set 26 years old.

This, however, begs the question: how does a collection of games 27 years old at most get the name "Namco Museum: 50th Anniversary" (emphasis mine)? What was Namco doing in 1955 anyways?

The first electronic computer was developed in Japan, in 1950. Maybe Namco was involved in software design back then as well?

Well then why don't they put a 50th anniversary sticker on a rocking horse? THE BASTARDS!
