What is its fucking problem? I had a science skill of 127% and still couldn't get the goddamn robobrain out of there.
EDIT: oh yeah, how does the organ removal thing work?

You need around 150% science. Shitty ,ain't it ?

You leave an npc in the room that's a bit south from the place where you get the Cyber brain. Then you use the brain retrival function and you have his brain
. Sadly the NPC kick's the bucket :/
As for the other organs i dunno.

You should be able to get it (121% is the minimum requirement), though it might take a few tries.
gundam2000- you're stuck with whatever brain you use when you assemble the robot. It's not total shit with the human brain installed. Though it will never level up, iirc.

You're better off dumping Skynet and getting a better follower, anyhow.

Skynet is one of the very best joinable NPC's. Just give him the M72 Gauss Rifle, and he'll be getting huge criticals almost every time he shoots something.

^ True. Though it can't wear armor and you can't use stimpaks on it. I've never kept Skynet when going to the Enclave for those very reasons. Vic and Cassidy do well with Gauss rifles and make good mules when wearing Power Armor.

Even thought he can't use stim's, he can heal himself completely in just a second - outside of combat, of course.
I always try to get him as soon as possible, to make sure he gets the chance to level up a bit before going to the enclave. When there, I can just let him, Marcus, Vic and the enclave soldiers hammer away at Horrigan, without me needing to fire a shot

EXACTLY.
I don't know about you guys, but I've never had ANY success with Vic.

I always sell all my NPC's as slaves. It's more fun to go it alone anyways.

I generally bring one NPC to the oil rig, as a mule.
I shamelessly exploit the trade buf that allows NPCs to carry way too much stuff, and thus load up massively on goodies.

No it might not, because you can always turn the difficulty slider to "Easy" and have a whopping(?) bonus in your science skill. 121 is more than enough (by 1, mebbe?).

It's clear that none of you morons know what you're talking about. Where's Saint Proverbius when you need him?

I'm positive it can be done with a science skill of 125,

Fallout Walkthrough wrote:Depending on your Science skill you'll end up with from zero to four brains from which you get to choose one. With Science 90% you can get the Human Brain about 50% of the time. To get the Cybernetic Brain you need Science 121%, but there's still a small risk of failure, so save first.
Schubert's a OH SHIT I HEAR THE ICE CREAM TRUCK!!!!!111!1111oneone.
I've always done it this way myself. Either really getting 121 or then just turning the difficulty slider a bit. Then it's all about quick-save and quick-load, my mate.

I retrieved the cybernetic brain with +10 IN and 130 science. Im not sure what the exact requirements are but that worked for me. It may require IN of 10, because I had no success with IN 9. Take mentats to boost science and IN.
