Read this, if you care.

GIC: Have you ever had that comparison made of you [of being an example in your 'career']?

FATAL1TY: I’ve had that a lot. I’ve been compared to Michael Jordan to Wayne Gretzky now, to Tiger Woods, to Tony Hawk. I think the best comparison is probably Tony Hawk.
I just hate him. Share the hate!

I've won money at quake tournys before, it's not that hard. Until this guy starts pimping Nike or something, I suggest he shut up or as a better idea, we ignore his existance entirely.

Oh quake, what alure you have!

And then I stopped playing it five years ago--games built off its engine are so much better!
I miss the good ol' USSA.

I too, have collected a great deal of finance from gaming tournaments. It is surprisingly easy to make use of that single mindedness, that dire concentration and exclusion-of-everything-but-the-game for reasonable profit. They bemoan themselves, though. Oh yes. Regret. :drunk:

I won $115 playing this when I was 15. The game was terribly unbalanced then though. The prospect of being a pro gamer didn't appeal so I quit.
