Holla,
I'm replaying Torment, but after I exit Ravel's maze and change to Disc 4 the game freezes. So I was wondering, does anyone have an ISO of it or something? Because this kind of sucks.

God, now you make me want to reinstall my copy. I have the old 4 cd version too. I had to do a repair on mine just to get it to install last time.

I love that game. Maybe even slightly more than I love Fallout.

Hilarious, I lost my 4th CD a few months ago. It vanished. I suppose I shall have to steal a new one at some point. :drunk:

If you're using the old 4-cd version, I think you need to get the latest v.1.1 patch. The 2-cd version (Comes bundled with Soulbringer) is already patched.

Thats correct, lunch.

I can make an ISO of the forth disk and put it on a torrent or some type of messenger. Give me a halla

Also trying copying the CD to your HD then doing that thing where it reads it from your harddrive instead.

If you're replaying, maybe a fix-pack is interesting?

Somewhere, someday, somehow, I doubt that the boy who owns that back is actually the chosen one.

That would be nice, thanks. I'm moving next week though so I don't know when I'll be able to get online again, but I'll PM you then.

I'm not really interested in downloading the whole game as only the last cd is fucked, and I can't afford / don't want to pay for cd repair stuff either. And yeah, I have patched it to 1.1. Thanks for the torrent site links, too, I'll try them out if this pooperscooper dealio doesn't work out. :salute:

I only got around to installing and barely starting this game last weekend, I got it on ebay last year or so
I have the 4 CD version and was surprised when it only needed 1 CD, not till I played that I needed the other CD's
I did some digging and found some information on how to run it off the HDD, see here

My steps to install the 4 CD version of the game are
1 - Install the game using CD 1
2 - Download and install the 1.1 official patch
3 - Download and install the un-official patch
4 - Download and install the CD crack
5 - Create a directory inside the "../Planescape Torment" directory called "Tormentcds"
6 - Backup the "torment.ini. file
7 - Copy the contents of CD 2 to the "../ "../Planescape Torment/Tormentcds" directory
8 - Copy the contents of CD 3 to the "../ "../Planescape Torment/Tormentcds" directory, select "Yes" to overwrite files
9 - Copy the contents of CD 4 to the "../ "../Planescape Torment/Tormentcds" directory, select "Yes" to overwrite files

10 - Now edit the "Torment.Ini" file similar to the how it is stated in the link above
- The "HD0" link should point to the directory where Planscape Torment" is installed
- The "CDx" links should point "../Planescape Torment/Tormentcds" directory
11 - Then change the "CacheSize" from its default value to "CacheSize=1"

Now the game will run off HDD with no CD checks, will not need to cache files and will run with the least amount of files
Things will be done differently if you have the 2 CD version of the game
I've seen Planescape Torment on Emule Plus, as full archives and as seperate CD archives too
Hope this helps someone now or in the future

Well, if you're using the Azureus client, you can just pick the files you want to download, so you wouldn't have to download the other 3 CDs.
