Finding tiles in the Fallout 2 Mapper

I started up the Fallout 2 Mapper to see if it would be too difficult for me to use, and I suppose that it is. But I could be mistaken. Is there an easier way to find tiles than to click 200+ times on the double arrow buttons? I read something about setting bookmarks, which I suppose would be helpful once the right tiles have been found, but with so many tiles and such a limited search method I doubt that I'm going to bother making even a single map. And I usually make at least a single map before I quit. :?

Very few of the tiles are labeled, so there really isn't an easier way to go about it. Here is a partial list of the tiles. Note that this is not complete, and I haven't double-checked it, so the exact numbers may be off, but they should be generally correct.

Code: Select all

0	Tile Eraser
1 Metal Grate
2-4 Steel Floor
5 Carpet
6-9 Concrete Slabs
11-59 Dirt
60-67 Old Tiles
68-75 Wood Roof
76-89 Tin Roof
90-144 Underground
145-195 Sidewalk
196-234 Road
235-237 Sidewalk
239-317 Roof
318-388 Old Roof
397-412 Bricks
440-445 Metal Grate Flooring
715-719 Rut
720-756 Tent Roof
757-801 UFO
802-811 Water
1053-1080	Goo
1390-1392	Wood Roof
1393-1395	Tin Roof
1631-1670	White Tent Roof
1672-1790	Arroyo Bridge
1809-1825	Stone Head
1892-1926	Red Carpet
2261-2274	Bricks
2276-2287	Stone Bricks

Err, hey.. Where are the tiles that let you make two story buldings? I've established that they are tiles, but I haven't managed to find them yet.

patience, buddy, I consider myself a very impationt person, for example I can't stand fishing unless I get fish after a few throws, but yet I have become one of the most experienced mappers out here(IT'S TRUE!)(ego growing)
Use the numpad plus-key to move forward, less tiresome than the mouse-click, use the numbers(I prefer "0" meself) to go back to start, find the tiles you want, move the cursor to the top of the screen to the pop-up menu bar, go to "tools" then "add bookmark" or something like that, then hit a number key.
It's easy as hell and if you can't do it then you don't deserve to use the mapper and I wish your PC would blow up in your face and spread splinters of shattered glass in your eyes...
