Was wondering how many of the folks here have buttholes clenched tighter than fists at the prospect of the noob flood that will occur when Fallout 3 hits the shelves? How will you handle it and what are your worst fears associated with it? (and what if anything could unclench the gnarled monkey's paw?)

My butthole cares not. We get a random assortment of new people about once every 2 months then they all go away when they realize we're not the nicest of folk and we hurt their internet feelers.

Most people will probably come fleeing to DAC after trying NMA, since NMA is number 1 on google. DAC is number 128.

One of many -

Create a conspicuous Morowind/Oblivion/Fallout 3 forum with an obviously 'familiar' feel for those blinded by the glory of TES. Confine them to the container.

Like addled bees to surreptitiously poisoned flowers.

Those not yet entirely asinine are able to leave at their discretion, those that do not can be blissfully, blissfully, blissfully, blissfully happy, of no great concern to those they might otherwise serve to irritate, and even a desperate source of amusement.

Yeah i'd have to say I look forward to that too. That has to be one of the softest forum i've ever been on, 96% of the people there just need to be told to shut the fuck up. I look forward to the barbarian horde's rape and pillage. Also I think it's the people who have "invaded" those forums that have made alot of the change, Bethesda at least seems open to ideas when it comes to improving their games. They couldn't have been getting anywhere near a complete enough picture of what needed to be done and improved from their own forums alone since they post on so many other RPG related forums. Most of these not being the friendliest places on the net (Codex, DaC). Still the prospect of the TESies comming here is a bit horrifying, I like being an elitist.

It has begun... Kinda. I knew of the Codex for a while, but actually registered there recently, what with all the Oblivion shenanigans. Through there I heard of DAC, and randomly checked it out. I wouldn't have registered except I couldn't get into the Wasteland... That was such an anti climax.

A barren, desolate place. Evil things lurk in the shadows, gibbering and foaming at the mouth. There is no law and order in The Wasteland.
