From the crazy rumors department comes word from WoW Guru that according to former Blizzard employee Chris Hartgraves, tomorrow at BlizzCon they will be announcing a Diablo III massively multiplayer game. Here's the dope:
Last week they had a thing called "Show N Tell" which they have every 6 months to all the full time employees - Anyways Diablo 3 takes place in heaven. Hell is trying to take it over and it is AWESOME looking ... I magine the brightness of heaven being taken over by the darkness of hell ... Imagine WoW but in a Diablo world in amount of size and playability ... Also, guild housing is available in this game for those of you who know about it. They should have a gameplay demo to show at BlizzCon.
Drunken disgruntled worker spilling the beans or crazy fabricated rumor? I guess we will find out tomorrow morning.
Cause MMORPG'S make more money and like wow,you won't be able to pirate it or play in any other servers for free except the blizzard(payment per month) ones.

Good old Blizzard is lost,All hail to the new gay,$$$making Blizzard.
They're making it MMORPG so they can break into the online console market (i.e. Xbox 360). Besides, most, if not all, Diablo players only play online so there you go.
Not saying it's a good thing, but I see where they're going with this.
I'd be all for it so long as the graphics are leaps and bounds over WoW. I think if they go for the same graphic style it would queer Diablo immensely.
As far as i know,Blizzard DOES NOT allow any other server (even if it's for free) other than battle net for any of it's games (including WoW).
As for WoW,the only way to play it for free,is to use a single player crack that popped out some time ago,but really single player is boring and not worth playing.
There's tons of free wow servers out, last I heard. Think Blizzard was cracking down on them doh, but it's mostly a matter of time. In the end, if the possibility is there for you to make your own crappy server, it's there for millions of people, and that's too big of a fight for most any company.
Well,starcraft ghost is finished (finally) and blizzard had a lot of job openings recently.So they 've got to have another project other than keep supporting WoW and it's expansion,right??
