XL70E3 help plz!thnx

XL70E3. This was an experimental weapon at the time of the war. Manufactured, primarily, from high-strength polymers, this weapon is almost indestructible. It's light, fast firing, accurate and can be broken down without the use of any tools. Min ST:5. It weighs 10 pounds.
Damage: 12-19, Range: 35, Ammo: 20 x 5mm (JHP or AP)
does anyone know where I can find this weapon?It looks like a blue sniper type gun...thnx in advance.

It's on a women in the tanker. Only way to get it is kill her (and all the people on the boat while at it, though you could probably assassinate her with stimpacks or dynamite).

You can get it on the Tanker. One of the Vagrants (The chic near Badger's door). Kill (super stim, explosives out shoot-out), and it's yours.
Although it is a rather crappy weapon for when you get it.

Yeah, it's there and it's s*it by the time you get it, but it's always nice to have stored in somewhere.
BTW do you use any "HeadQuarters" while you play?
I always kill the merchant out of NCR and take the shelves as my HQ. Nice place, lots of weapons, though the guards may be nasty with their Bozars, but a thief is always fine with them

I use The militery depot as mine, I find its easily accesable and there is already a lot of stuff there.

And if you're lucky enough (no, not your character - in REAL LIFE!) you might find it from these gangsters patrolling around San Fransisco, maybe near Military Base.

I use stashes personally, one in each map, where there is anything to leave behind anyway.
For NPCs, I just leave them near the car "entrance" in case I need a quick pickup...

I just love my base at NCR. The sign says GUNS and that's exactly what there is after I came.. thee shelves full of them and also the car trunk... plus I have a nice guard who sings about cars and cats. You gotta love it!

I don't have a headquarters. I never was much of a packrat. Sometimes I use Farrel's safe though. Once I kill him with Super Stims.
