It's true. At least they didn't pick The Rock or Vin Diesel... It's just a cartoon but still. Where's Arny? D;

Good to see they're basing it on one of Robert E. Howard's originals, and a pretty sleasy one at that. I guess it remains to be seen how true they stay to the original.

LMAO. Seems Hamil can only voice-act or play with silent bob.

The funny thing about Mark Hamill is that he's really an excellent voice actor, even if he hasn't done much as an actor beyond nostalgia roles because omfg Luke Skywalker. His Joker in various Batman cartoons was awesome, as was his performance as Adrian Ripburger in Full Throttle and tons of other good stuff. It's easy to dismiss him as a washed up Star Wars dude, but, well, he's actually very good at what he does.
How appropriate. You fight like a cow.

I'd like to point out that he was also very good in The Big Red One, which pretty recently was remade from the ground up and re-released as "The Big Red One: The Reconstruction".

If I believed in heroes, I would believe in Mark Hamill- that guy's voice is fucking everywhere.

He was a nobody when they cast him in Star Wars, and he'd still be a nobody now, except for the fact that he was freakin Luke Skywalker.

Well Harrison Ford was a nobody when they cast him in Star Wars and nobody calls him Han Solo anymore :giggle:

Harrison Ford went on to become a movie Icon. I'd say Han Solo is still his defining role, but you can't forget the Indiana Jones trilogy, Blade Runner, The Fugitive, Air Force One, etc.

You certainly can't. Blade Runner was fucking awesome, and still is. I watch it every once in a while, and it still gives me the tingles. Han Solo is just Deckard's fagget baby brother.

Don't forget less important movies that were as good. Polanski's Frantic is a good example.

It's a classic, simple as that. And it happens to be my all time favourite picture. Nice to see I'm not alone, though :dance:

It's my favorite, as well. I'm eagerly waiting for the super ultra real director's cut that Ridley Scott is having trouble getting released. But I digress! What's the deal with an animated Conan? The first is tough to match, I think, regardless of what anyone says. Is this just going to be a shitty remake, on par with the second one?

Blade Runner, 2001: A S.O., Brazil, and Alien are my all-time sci-fi best. They're all different types of films though, so I don't want to put them in any 'order'.
I suppose there are pretty many people (among those who don't enjoy crap movies) who recognize Blade Runner as an intelligent, prominent film and a 'model' for good sci-fi flicks.

Nope, I can't forget Air Force One, no matter how hard I try.

I don't think I ever heard someone say Blade Runner was bad.

I sometimes watch it out of love for Rutger Hauer.
