The Kills

I am listening to the cd No Wow, and I am enjoying it greatly.

Minimal Rock, but catchy. It sounds like it's played with one guitar overdriven to the point you can hardly tell it's not synth, and some drum sticks tapping together.

It's all very tight though, this is what rock should be I guess? The opposite of progressive pretentiousness?

I have some stuff from black rooster, it's goodish I guess. Mabye a bit repetitive. I don't think it's what rock should be, but it sure is something!

Alas, no. John Peel recently communicated through a notorious Pekinese medium by the name of Silas Gregor III that he thinks The Kills are 'as much fun as having your testicles stapled to a malicious ceiling fan' (sic).
