why just one fan-made-quest? If more of'em are good that is... Did I mention I want good, branching dialogues using stat-checks, and I want to be able to solve quest by these, as an alternative to combat, and that what you say in a dialogue must depend on the previous choices of the PC, and in turn influence the rest of the game? Guess I did..
I think it's a bad idea. The worst thing that could happen is that BethSoft starts listening to the fans.
1) BethSoft are professionals at making games, and they have much larger scope and experience to design quests than a fanboy. Also, the quality thing aside, why would they want fan-made quests? What's so special about them?
2) It's hard to design a quest if you don't know anything about the story or locations in the game and I doubt they want to share any info during development.
3) Fan made Fallout.

Just do it based on past Fallout games (a.k.a Canon)2) It's hard to design a quest if you don't know anything about the story or locations in the game and I doubt they want to share any info during development.
