Any of you actually read the books?

Finished 1 and 2, read 3 about half-way through and browsed some of te beginning of 4. We had this Harry Potter mad teacher at high school who forced us all to read them, make essees about them yadi yadi. It was pure agony.

I also read 1, 2 and 3... also started 4 but it was too much... I could not take it anymore.
Jesus Christ half of the Harry Potter books were just descriptions of what they ate! It just made me hungry an pissed of.
As books they were quite well written but the content was just too D:
I'm more into more mature fantasy with blood, gore and chicks in chain mail bikinis. :joy:

They're decent fun but it's too obvious how the whole thing will end: Harry will die to save everyone and forgive our sins. It's the standard Jesus scenario they use to ruin the end of popular franchises.
How appropriate. You fight like a cow.

Well, he has to die. Otherwise there would be a sequel after a sequel, although I don't think the publsher would mind that. James Bond needs to die too. And Fallout.

Christ battles little people in deep space because Harry Potter is a blasphemer against fantasy. Also, I miss fantasy. Haven't read it in a long time. Suggest a book or series anyone pllllleeeeeeaaaase? Sucky sucky :chew:

I've read 4 of the books, all in the same year, just to go on a field trip to skip school for a day to see the first goddamned movie (something stone...).

DAC- For all your fallout needs.

^ No, it's not for all your fallout needs. I think this site attracts more swell guy, shitheads, losers, and thread-hijackers than it does Fallout fans. This site should be renamed the Steamy pile of Horse shit or aka SPHS- For all your not-Fallout needs.

Get yourself some Gotrek & Felix books. They are great and they sure aren't one those "happy happy joy joy!" fantasy books.
