Duck and Cover

I was re-reading one of the Fallout Bibles, and someone pointed about the talking deathclaws' future, what happened after the events of Fallout 2. Then Chris Avellone said that every single talking animal or such would die after the game was over. He said that because the talking critters were some sort of joke, like if it didn't happened oficially?

Aye, because they were stupid. Or let me put it this way, the idea of having talking deathclaws was stupid.
