Dungeeon Siege all the way! I would get Morrowind it just that my system is too crappy. Neverwinter Nights is a great idea for multiplayer but sp, im not sure. Also, i forgot to tell u Dungeon Siege seems to have the CRAPPIEST story ever!

I voted to stick to Fallout. Hack and Slashes don't really appeal to me, although I may buy DUngeon Siege in a bargain bin several years down the line.
My internet sucks too much for NWN, and besides, I really am not into that type of stuff. Not to mention, with from what I have seen of it, most of the DM's are newbs who can't make a dungeon worth crap. Easy to see why, my brother tells me that there are two veritable tomes just for the Aurora tool set.
Morrowind is too much for my system, and I have been somewaht scared away from it because many people have told me that it is a somewhat empty roleplaying experience.
So, I will just stick to my Fallout, thank you.

Morrowind absolutely.
The more I look at the Never Winter Nights rules, the more I grue
and fear for being dissapointed....
Besides retail price is about 200kr (20£ or about $25) ABOVE
the original price which is 400kr! (40£ or about $52).
So in total it's 600kr, 60£ or $77 and that's just a ridicoulus price!!!

Easy, Smiley, easy. I like Hack and Slashes, somewhat. I am jut not going to shell out 50 USD to play it when I would much more enjoy spending the same on something else. I will buy Dungeon Siege when it's only 20 or so USD.
So what I said is not accurate. Spending fifty bucks on a hack and slash does not appeal to me. So there. It is money better spent on something I would enjoy more, like Freedom Force, or Medal of Honor: AA. Or something. But I will buy Dungeon Siege. Eventually.

Skill levels do NOT make something a RPG.
Look at Deus Ex. It has skill levels, but it's a FPS. Same with Brave Fencer Musashi (Zelda type game), or C:SotN (great game...not a RPG).

WTF!? There was an "other" option? In that case, I am going to be buying Arcanum and Planescape Torment later this week. Well, Arcanum later, but I am getting PST ASAP.
>smacks self in head<
Well, since for reasons obvious to those who know me, I won't be out enough to get PST and Arcanum.
...because my mom is big fat bitch

Arcanum, after I get my other computer back from Portland it's dated too & is a 566 but better than the old micron 166MMX I'm using here. This one is ancient & can't handle much more than, cyndicate, FO & HOMM3. Were supposed to pick the danged thing up awhile ago but my SO bought a really crappy car & we can't make the 50 mile drive.

I think it's an rpg. you play a role. And it's a game.Grand Lord Penguin wrote:

it involves charecter building, small sub-quests and every action causes a re-action.
And if you try going in all guns blazing you'd get killed very fast. It's easier to sneak around, or hack and...stuff.
Plus it's not linear [sometimes] and has 3 different endings.
and in every area there isn't a hostile enemy (straight away)

Ugh. More pidgeon-holeing. Anything by Looking Glass should not be categorized as simply "an RPG", or "an FPS". System Shock, Deus Ex, and Thief all combine elements of different genres into one incredible mix. True, DX is all FPS on the surface, but it's a very complex RPG underneath the hood. Same with System Shock 2.Look at Deus Ex. It has skill levels, but it's a FPS.
