FO3 poster at E3

Post by Ausir »

[ Game -> Images ] - More info on Game: Fallout 3

CVG has posted a short article accompanied by the Fallout 3 poster from this year's E3, a lot nicer than the last one.

He's back! PipBoy, that cheeky nuclear awareness mascot that charmed us so much back in seminal masterpieces Fallout 1 and 2, has made a return to E3 - albeit only in paper form so far.
Somewhat quelling the fears of Fallut fans that Bethesda might overlook the humour, charm and fifties stylings of the series, the Fallout kid's return seems to promise this won't be the case - and that's certainly great, great news for Fallout obsessives everywhere.

I agree...

It may give a flicker of hope, but it's still just a poster.
I have returned! (again)

Looks good enough for me.

Maybe it will be based in the 50's setting during the panic and when the bombs fall, just like I said would be awesome. It probably won't though and speculating on what the plot of FO3 will be on a teaser poster is stupid.

Yes, but speculating on what the art in FO3 will be based on the poster isn't as stupid. And it is promising.

A football since America is all about football. It should probably be a baseball since that was America's true sport during the 50's and forever.

yeah, yeah.

But foo-baw was also big-ish.

Reagan played with "the Gipper" even before the 50's. (In college)

Then he got to play the Gipper as an actor.

Then he got called the Gipper as an actor.

um, I mean president.

"I'm not a real president, but I play one on TV"

or was that bubba?

Anyone who regards this sickly gag as a ray of sunshine, a reason for optimism, is far more an idiot than prior anticipated. :drunk:
