Nintendo is where it's at
I'm seeing reports of the specs of the new nintendo console, and they're not that much above the old gamecube. Nowhere near the power of the ps3 or x360.
I think this is a really good thing actually. Nintendo are following through on their philosphy of new, unique games rather than stupid tech demos (and honestly, is there a game worth playing on the xbox 360? I can't think of one). It's ALL about the games - which is why, as i've said before, I've been playing my DS rather than any new PC games, ever since I got it. Phoenix Wright with its static environments, 2d characters and text only dialogue > Titan Quest (which is the last PC game I bought and haven't played much since).
Besides that, the games will be cheaper than on the consoles and the console itself will be of a reasonable price, AND developers won't have to spend 75% of their budget on the graphics department of their studio. It's win-win...

Or Nintendo should've stopped when whatever nutjob who thinks human beings are some three armed tentacle freakshow accepted the Nintendo64's controller.

Something different?
I hear there was a game out recently, something like "Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel," completely and utterly different in the realm of Fallout.

The wii is an interesting idea if they get it to work. Based on all reports from people who actually held it the main problem is lack of accuracy and being nearly uncontrolable. If this isn't fixed it'll be another power glove or virtual boy. I predict it'll come out with a lot of fanfair then sink into the background.

Looks like it's me and Pooper vs everyone else. Look, if you haven't played Paper Mario, go and buy a gamecube and play it. You'll soon see how it's the best adventure-RPG game with the funniest dialogue since Anachronox, which in turn was the best adventure-RPG with the funniest, most intelligent dialogue since ever.
