Kick IGN and Gamespot's ass

This site is setting itself up as a game review watchdog type thing, so far its got a chart of IGN and GS reviews showing how stupidly biased they are. If this grows maybe it'll start to make the big game sites give realistic scores to the games they review.

Useless. If you don't trust the reviews on the big game sites, then JUST DON'T READ THEM.
I don't buy the newspaper I think are stupid.

I make my own reviews lol. Just torrent and try it, if you like it then buy it (damn, it rhymes, it should become a motto or something).

Well I've got to admit I sometimes feel frustration at the apparent bias of many of these sites, and some people living a lie by calling themselves journalists. I like seeing the balance being somewhat addressed.

What I would be interested in would include that site writing it's own reviews, and maybe justifying why they gave such and such scores, and why they differ from those gives at GameSpot, etc.

Agreed.
I mean, we're talking about a 40-60$ game. Or better, a game you torrented. Not a 25,000$ car.
And it's not like you see people reviewing table games?

It would be more interesting to see anaylize the reviews of a site to see inconsistencies between the reviews.

One thing that always bothered me was the "lol gamespot/IGN gave it 9/10 MAN! IT MUST BE AWESOME!".
I heard that same crap from so many people, just replace "offical magazine" or anything else in there too.
