Lionheart - Legacy Of The Crusader

So, I got the game.
Installed it.
Bit my nails in anxiety.
Ran the game.
And it crashes. :anger:

When I get to see my character's face, right after i click on the pre-made ones or when I choose my race the game just exits to my desktop...
I have an AMD K-6 2+, 500 Mhz, 96 SDRAM and an ATI Radeon 7000. I think the game should work acceptably... What can I do?

Do not ask of can, but of should. To which, response -

Equip the Ring, and bask in this most delightful contortion of happenstance. You have tripped upon that which the Crusaders sought. :drunk:

Indeed, I am aware that it sucks on totally whole new levels...
Still, I am in the mood for giving utterly worthless crap a shot, since I haven't seen anything decent made lately...
Heck, it uses the SPECIAL system, at least I'll play it for respect to BlackIsle :P

Well "Uses" the special system.

I had problems with the game myself as it would crash in certain areas. I can't even remember exactly what I did, but have you tried looking for a patch?

Yeah, got the 1.1 patch, and installed it. Still no remedy

Minimum System Requirements
System: Pentium III 600 MHz or Athlon/AMD K7 650Mhz or equivalent
RAM: 128 MB
Video Memory: 8 MB

Maybe, juuuuust maybe...

Seriously, how hard is it to look at the minimum specs on the box? My friend used to buy games and figure out that his system wasn't good enough to play it because he was too stupid to look at the side of the box.

Here's what you do.

1) Crash 10 times.

2) Laugh about it.

3) Drink alcoholic bevarages.

4) Run it again.

Worked for me.

Pooper, the game runs just fine, the accelerator is way beyond the specs and the game runs smoothly. It's just that it crashes stupidly :chainsaw:

Just because your game isn't slow doesn't mean it's going to work like you want it to.

Anyone remember Arcanum?

Yeah, but I'm rather convinced that it should at least work to some extent... further than the character creation at least.

Arcanum ran just fine on my rig

Reduce your settings, and when the drive light is glowing, sit back and wait.
Don't overstress the poor thing.

Ooooh, if the blasted game would let you change ANY video setting except gamma  , it'd be lionheart valhalla (or nirvana for the alternative rockers)

Take Diablo 2, Fuck it up.

Take Fallout, extract only SPECIAL, then rape it.

Take Foucalt's Pendulum, and don't read it. Just pretend.

Eat the result.

Then poop it out.

It be worse than that.

You are blessed to not play it.
