How comes nobody likes Avenger minigun? I thought it is pretty good, where can I find one for free?

Is Vindictator worth it? I mean, 4.7 caseless is really expensive and 25 a round... Do u guys think Bozar or Avenger is better?

and i dont really use em. i usually gave marcus a bozar.

Ive got one in the car, I alternate it with my M60 when one of 'em runs out of ammo. I save my Bozar for the tough stuff.

Ive got the best gun for every time of ammo except for .45 which I just leave alone. Its best to have several Big Guns as they eat up ammo very quickly so I rarely have to buy ammo as by the time one weapon runs out Ive usualy picked up enough ammo for my alternate gun off corpses. Allot of NPCs carry vindicator ammo.

I personally like vindicator more. Avenger uses 5mm ammo which can be found easily and has better range but in later part of the game when you find 4.7mm caseless ammo you should switch to vindicator, but don't use it to kill weak enemies or you'll run out of ammo.

Or you could use bozar, like the rest of us

Avenger is pretty good as it eats 5mm, but when you get to San Fran, you get more than enough ammo for vindi, so there is where my Avenger retires..

i liked the caseless ammo so i used H&KG11E and Vindicater minigun whenever possible. granted it cost a crapload to buy ammo for but i was an expert gambler and just went to reno or reading, bet away and bought the ammo at san fran. I also loved my pancor jackhammer and bozar and ....

Vindictor is pretty much a must have for the 2-hour-finish-game-method.

Vindicator is much better if you actually plan to keep the ammo on your person.

I like rocket-launcher+flame-thrower combo.

No one ever seems to use them though, but there handy in the northern parts and in bars.

I finished the game with a gauss rifle and Y131241 pulse rifle. I don't like miniguns unless I have no armour on.

I think why most people don't use rocket launchers is their weight (launcher + lots of rockets) even when wearing a power armor. But you're right, it's very effective.

Flamethrowers are not that good later on though. Hmm, maybe if you had Sniper?

I like the death scene from when someone gets it from the flame thrower, the dancing flame boy.

The first time I used the flamethrower, it was the improved with improved fuel. Cool.

I don't really like the dancing flameboy that much. Effect kinda wore off after the first or second death that way. I personally like the gore filled death scenes myself.

Well, my character right now is a gunfighter. Gonna put some points into Big guns, or at least grab a flamethrower. I want to see what Sniper and a Flamethrower can do together baby! :onfire: :onfire: :onfire: :twisted:

My fav death animation is when you shoot and critically hit someone with Desert Eagle and half of his belly explodes into pieces, along with a nice sound effect.

I like the electric death animations and that one where theyre skull stands there.

I like all of them except default.
