Jagged Alliance 2: Unfinished Business

I never played JA or JA2 or any other ones, but someone come explain how hte fuck I play this shit. I pick my guys, blah blah, go into the first mission and then get wasted because I have pistols and they have assault rifles and grenades and body armor and like... laser breath.

If you're playing JA2: Unfinished Bussiness, stop now and install just normal old JA2. Next - You gotta be very careful when you're fighting. Quicksave is your friend. Try setting up the enemy in a cross fire or somewhere where your disadvantage with pistols isn't so terrible.

I borrowed the game from my boss. He's looking for JA2, but couldn't find it before work the other day.

Listen to Walt, better play
JA2 first, you can export your characters to UB afterwards, if you want. UB is rather hard with the standard characters, also you get a bit more of the background story and more experience
Also try lower difficulty setting at first, the higher ones get you killed if you're beginner.
Later on you may try the
1.13 mod
It's not yet finished but warrants awesome new features for JA2 already

No, the conditions suck, but my boss is into all the old school games.
And yes to the 27 hours a day, and if only it were minimum. I make 30% of minimum. Not really. But still.

And actually a lot of my time is spent in a freezer where it's something like -20 degrees F after you include wind chill.
