The Tex Murphy series

Has anyone played them? Does anyone know where I could get hold of them? I still have all 6 CDs of The Pandora Directive, but I really want to get hold of Overseer and Under the Killing Moon (played that once, fabulous).

For those of you who haven't heard of the series, they are in my opinion, the best quest style adventure games ever made. I think that Pandora Directive was released in 1996. At the time, it was 6 CDs (it's "an interactive movie"), so quite a bit larger than most games. I always used to play Doom and stuff, so my parents got this for me, since it looked a little more intellectual, even though I didn't speak english too well and had basically no idea about what was going on.

The game has an awesome storyline. I seriously recommend it for anyone that can get hold of it. The game was made by Access, which was later acquired by Microsoft (I had some problems running it, a while ago, so I called their tech support, and surprisingly, they hadn't even heard of the game, even though they were directly responsable for it).

Also, I have all 6 CDs of Pandora Directive as .iso's, so if you guys really want to try it, I can upload somewhere, however, one of the CDs had a few scratches on it, so I don't think that I got all of the content on that one (it was either CD5 or 6), however, you shouldn't really run into any problems with playing through the game, since there are so many different paths and options that you can do.

Played Under A Killing Moon for about ten, maybe twenty minutes. Years ago. Then I discovered that it was a cause of pancreatic cancer. This risk was later established to be relevant to all software that features the character Tex Murphy. A pity, really, that I prefer my pancreas to computer games. Yes.

I still haven't had that blood test. I arranged another appointment, but due to serious intoxication the previous night, I ended up missing it.

It's a lot of fun. There are various ways of playing through the game (the good, neutral and evil way), and the decisions that you make affect the storyline drastically.

By the way, Tex Murphy: Overseer is available on torrentspy. I just downloaded it and am going to see if it was worth the effort
