Of course, they used to be the official forums but due to overwhelming complaints, which I suspect were just lots and lots of emails sent by a guy called SpoQn, the <a href="http://gluttoncreeper.com/discussions/" target="_self">official forums</a> have moved to a more censured setting.</p><p>Anyway, there's lots of entertaining reading to be had. Plus since when is the art in a pnp guide book important. Its a guide book that is suposed to be for dungeon master use only so he can create campaigns eazier in fallout world. Players just get to imagine everything that the dungeon master tells them and than act out their characters. the other problem is the writing. not only is it non canonical-and a touch unbelievable, these guys don't even have respect for basic spelling and grammar.

Basicly pnp rpgs quality is not what so ever decided by the book its played with. Its all about how good or shity dungeon master you have. The book is there just to help him out so the game is somewhat playable. He is free to use any art or books to enhance players expirience of his campaign. He can tweake rules in the book as it pleases him to create best campaign that he can.

When i played fallout pnp i used old Mutant pnp rpg. It was kinda cyberpunk rpg with wierd mutants and all kinds of non fallout crap in it. All i had to do was remove from my campaign the world it was played in. Indstead of huge town it was a blown up world and i played with 5 people that all knew what fallout was so there wasnt much explaining needed in how the world would look. It worked perfectly and i used fallout pc game pictures to enhance the expirience but most often not even that was needed cause everyone knew how stuff like power armor or deathclow looked like.

Only thing that the book helped with was massive amount of damage, distance and so on calculating tables.

Bullshit, certain shortcuts may be taken, in particular for burst weapons, if the GM decides to. To put it in deference to the completely mentally incompetent like you, it would be like deciding whether to roll the damage of each magic missile at once, or individually for each missile, and then you get into the nuances of rolling spell immunity for each missile as it hits or the entire spell. The same with fireball, which does different amounts of damage to those within its effects, and THEN gets to the point of the half damage saving throws.

There's a point where a GM would just say "fuck it, the kobolds are dead" when you drop a fireball into their midst. The same could be said for weak enemies and a minigun burst or a grenade effect. If you're going to complain about calculating distances and such, then you probably haven't played real tabletop games.

You can either be as complex or as simple as you care to play. You, child, are obviously quite simple.

A great deal of progress had been made in the art thread until your new mod came and deleted all the posts (I am guessing without reading them).

Two members had been arguing amidst a VERY productive exchange between the artists and fans.
I was excited and still held out hope for this project until now. Please delete my account as I no longer wish to take part in this forum nor do I wish to acknowledge its existence.

I would suggest that we ALL stop posting there as of now.

The artists might be willing to listen to reason, but let them come here, nothing that much constructive was accomplished at those boards anyway. Then again, even if the artists give the setting justice, developers will not. John would have to come to talk, and if he haven't done that so far, he probably won't now.

SpoQn's comments hint that he had been a mod all along. It wouldn't surprise me if he was indeed a plant, or John's alter ego. Even his sig says "there is no spoQn..."
