It gets EVER so slightly better once you actually become a jedi and can choose which planet you want to go to, but the overall answer is no. It doesn't.
Yeah, the basic gameplay doesn't really change from that... but it's pretty cool to swing around your lightsabres on foreign planets and stuff. And I guess gambling / racing is pretty good as well.
Everything's just so black and white, that you can't really bare to try the dark side... The dark side is made of rapists and serial killers only, all with some sort of psychotic condition. No sense whatsoever.
It improves beyond sight and mind when one takes a ball-pein hammer to the discs and case, utilising the remnants as a quaint victual for a figure of antipathy. Delicately shattered and within meat, perhaps pork or venison.
couldn't get past the goddam intro where you have to bungle around with the clunky turn-based combat system. nauseating.
suppose you're thinking about a plate of shrimp. suddenly somebody will say like 'plate' or 'shrimp' or 'plate of shrimp', out of the blue, no explanation.

I don't live in London. I live in Bishop's fucking Stortford. I don't even know what 'Stortford' means. Or 'Nightingales' for that matter(That's the street where I live with three slovakians and a gay pole). It's total bumpkinland though, they don't even have a fucking gaming store for me to go and raid bargain bin for SOTC and God of War.

Question: does it get any better after a while? I'm currently mucking around in the Lower City and it's pretty horrible alright.
Come on, it's a huge improvement in every way over nwn.
I wouldn't put the game aside before I had at least left Taris which is the intro planet. It gets better after that although the patented black&white bioware choices & nerdy dialog remain.
Kotor 2 makes a much better use of the game mechanics(skills) and the story/characters/dialog are darn good until you get to the end. It's a mature game compared to bioware's juvenile kotor.
Hearts of Iron 2: Doomsday, asshole. Get it, love it.
And yeah. KOTOR stays the same. I liked the way the combat worked in that it was .... CTBesque whatever but it wasn't swing wait wait wait swing it was constant combat with everything between the actual attacks being just visual or whatever. Was pretty spiff, I guess. Also raping children.
off topic? OMG YOU'VE BEEN CENSORED... yet you're still posting. MYSTARY!!!!

yeah it was great to just stand around in open spaces with mobs clustering around you while you spammed your strongest force power. tactical combat, ftw.
