(PS2) Marvel Alliance

For those of you (probably a very low minority) who are interested in this, and don't mind if it's not on the next-gen consoles, does anyone know much about it?

Anyone have it?

I'm considering buying it only because I am a fan of several of the marvel characters, but for the most part, the Symbiotes showcased in the Spiderman series. Cletus Kasady(Carnage) and Eddie Brock(Venom) are fuckin awesome as hell, but I see NO indication that they have any involvement whatsoever in the game.

However, many of the characters have 'not been revealed', so I can only assume that either A) you need the game to see them and find them, or

the deadline was not met and the game requires updates for its latter sections.
If that's the case, and the Black and Red symbiotes eventually are shown in the game, I'm already buying it. However, if you only fight pansies like 'Dragon Man', 'Tiger Shark', and... whoever the FUCK 'Loki' is, then I'm not buying it.

If I do, I'm expecting to see some mass-murdering on Cletus Kasady's account, or there's gonna be hell to pay.

If anyone has additional opinions or other information, feel free to list it. It'd be helpful to know whether I should buy it or not.

From what I've heard, the gameplay is just like those two X-Men dungeon crawlers. Go for it if you liked those.

I wish someone would do a Preacher game.

Instead of plasma powers and chit, you could have a bunyon that would throb when enemies approached.

He's right. I played the 360 demo at my Hastings and while it's ok, it's just mindless button mashing. Still it allows me to play Captain America so I can't complain too much.

Naw, it was always in General Gaming. But I can see how that might've been mislead at 1st glance if you though you saw 'General Discussion'

Anyway... yeah. Oh, I found some sad shit a couple days back. No matter how kickass the Symbiotes are, they eventually give their hosts stomach cancer.
During Marvel Civil War, when Spiderman unmasks on TV, Brock is prettymuch a comatose skeleton in a hospital bed. Wiki says the same thing happened with Kasady.
