Chances are unless you Ebay you're not getting a PS3 until around Christmas time, if until next year.

I'll probably get a PS3 once the prices are a bit lower, like next spring maybe, and I'm definately not buying a Wii.

TO tell you the truth both launches look lackluster. THe only interesting game that would entertain me more than an hour is Zelda for WII but thats basically a gamecube game no matter what they do to it. PS3 has like Resistance and thats it?

so it's got a hard drive, blue ray, and super-duper power, but I guess it won't have all these nice tools that PCs have (MS office, P2P, iso&virtualdrive soft, firefox+extensions, etc) so I wouldn't be switching.
Or could it challenge the PC in versatile applicability? Personally I'd say ofcourse not, but then I know shit about consoles, so tell me.
