I think it's good that 12600 people signed the petition, but then again, it's 12600 people who have their own ideas of how Fallout 3 should be. Some wants it to be like Fallout 1, some like Fallout 2, some people just want more guns and mutants, some even thinks it's a petition for Fallout Tactics 3.

*shudders at the mere thought of a Fallout Tactics 2 lurking in the shadows*

Don't get me wrong, i'd give my left testicle for Fallout 3, but not if it's a replica of Tactics.

If it was 12000 different people who had signed it might mean something but that is not the case here, rather a bunch of people who signs multiple times fake signatures etc…

To me a strong community seems more likely to succeed.

Ahem, well just in case if you have not signed it just scribble your name.

I have signed it, but i'd rather have the "free the sourcecode" petition do well. Although the chances of either one of them making any significance is minimal, close to none :( .

This is becoming an epidemic. Is there not a way to just delete all the threads older than 6 months or a year or whatever?

I suppose that'd lead to people asking the same questions over and over again, but that usually happens anyway.
