I've posted the first part of an article I'm writing about world of warcraft over on my blog (direct link to the article here).

It's a plug, I know, but I'm pleased with the article so want to give it some more exposure... if you're wondering where I went a while back when i stopped posting on DaC, here's your answer. Enjoy!

"mhs7603: So, how much time did you spend getting rank 14 ?"

5 months or so.

You have my pity, Teats :salute:

That's the problem with any RPG that has this style, the path is the goal, when you have reached the goal, that is lvl14 in this case, you wonder why you did it.
Then again, you can count yourself lucky, since you finally know you can't get any better and leave the game, maybe sell the account for some hundred dollars, or so. You could sell it to Haris.

The only way of winning is probably not to play those games at all. :wargames:
Just go for games that don't require min-max style playing or extensive playtime to gain the necessary +5 super buttplug of whatever.

Well, it wasn't all bad, but when you look at the time you spent playing, it's... wow. becomes more than a full time job.

So that's where you, Saint P and Spazmo hang out. I generally tend to avoid female gamers so you wont find me roaming the forests of Azaroth or any other virtual chat room. The worst thing probably is that they're so time consuming that it would be impossible to come up with a time schedule arrangement that includes work, studies, getting drunk and WoW addiction.

That's the second time you win the "shittiest news post" title, isn't it?
Huh?

My posts obviously have such a great effect on Susan he automatically thinks they're Official News. Thanks, Susan D:

Nice article.
Happy belated birthday!

I could never get into WoW. I got a six month membership but I don't get the point of levelling up and walking around. I guess there is no point

I think I played WoW for roughly a month, mainly to keep in contact with mates who'd left Melbourne and played it. But I just couldn't stand it. Gave the account to my brother last week, and just play Auto Assault.

I remember back in the day where you actually had to earn it, before it was honor farmers, back when people only played a few hours into the night instead of into it, through it, and on across the morning and then just never bother to sleep. Or pay some chinese kid to not sleep for him.

Rank 14 is for Chinese farmers.
