What is this?
Fallout 2 seems to run at 640x480 resolution.
I can barely stand to play the game like that, it is ridiculous.
I'm used to have my settings at 1152x864, and now going back to the stone age? I don't want to go blind!
The situation is more ludicrous as i played Fallout 1 at 800x600.
Since i have a burned copy:
is it a matter of how pirates burn the game or
Interplay really released F01 at 800x600 and FO2 2 at 640x480?

640x480 is the default resolution. It never posed a problem for me.

Huh?
Why so much hard feelings. I just wrote expressed my opinion about
Fallout's 2 resolution beeng too low...i didn't want to make fun of the game.
I'm not one of thoose gamers that play only 3D eye-candy games and that care only about the game's graphic.
I actually ( like all of you i suppose ) love games that have "a soul", that have something special in it, like Fallout.
The game in itself is superb and i have it in my personal top 3 RPG-s list.
It is just that...if the resolution would have been 800x600 ( like FO1
) it would be wonderfull.

Don't worry, most of the guys here are lovable jerks. OK, scratch the lovable part.
There's a patcher that allows you to increase the resolution, but it's difficult to play the game that way (maybe not at all) and you need a specific version of the game installed.

Good luck.
