any of you remember thos old games like Kyrandia and Rex nebular?

why the hell dont they make games that entertaining any more,
hell, back then they put more work in just the boxes the games came in
than they put into the games of today.

Time can't 'forgot' anything, even if you mean the metaphorical sense of the word. ESPECIALLY if you do.

Time is an illusion and videogames are blackholes of the illusion

Present day games may be less appealing to you because they lack the innovative qualities of the titles that pioneered the gaming industry. Essentially all modern games are constituted of an integration of previously exploited concepts.

I'm sure Goretheglowingone´s tirade is directed against these games as well. Fact is all artistic efforts, including games, are inspired by preceding works. If gore´s definition of quality entertainment is something that is utterly devoid of traces that link it to predating stuff, he is not easily going to be satisfied.

A 3D representation of a 4D object in 3D space. We can comprehend what it might look like in 3D, but not in 4D.

Well, Stephen Hawking says he can, but I think he's just after attention.
